The Earth Remembers- March 2025

There is a remembrance that only our mother seems to know. This collection first stirred in my heart one early autumn morning while meditating on some overgrown grass. The wind rippled through it, flowing like a river to it's own rhythm. Just as the waters did millions of moons ago, before this beautiful city and its gardens set roots. There is an inherent repetition, a remembrance of these patterns- they are intergenerational. An innate remembrance of our Mother, yet one we only seem to recognize when we intentionally observe. Now covered in a blanket of snow, still, the earth remembers.. for it is glistening! Our sun and the snow, they dance, weaving light and reflecting back an ethereal shimmer. Just as the waters before did, as they'd rush and swirl and sing. Right here, where these grasses now sway. Before anyone had the opportunity to recognize such resemblance, before I pieced together these words to share with you- when only the earth remembered, as it still does.
